Calling a woman a Merry Magdalene is referring to her as a promiscuous woman. It is based on the false belief that Mary Magdalene, the companion of Jesus, was a prostitute. She was not, but despite the fact that most churches have said so, popular misconception remains that she was a whore. And, as you can imagine, a whore is very promiscuous. It’s a funny name to call a promiscuous woman, because you’re labeling her as “merry”, implying that promiscuity makes a person happy.
And oh, it sure as heck does.
Just now, for fun, I tried to accurately remember how many women I have fucked in my life. I came up with a number, but after a few more minutes, I’d remember another woman. Then another. I can’t be sure that the number I have is accurate. I knew I should have secretly videotaped all my trysts. At least then I’d have a record to go by. Ah well, I’ll just round up to fifty-four hundred, and assume I’m in the ballpark.
Personally, I don’t think of promiscuity by a woman in a negative way. Ever since I was a lad, I’ve felt that it’s a double standard to think of a man that has had a lot of sex partners as a stud, and a woman that has had a lot of sexual partners as a slut. Guess what? We’re both human, sexual animals. Males and females feel good getting their bits wet with other people. It’s always been that way, and it’ll always be that way. Now, unfortunately, sex power is one of the few kinds that women have these days. So, if they want to have sex with a lot of people easily and freely, they sort of deny themselves this power.
I like it when women deny themselves that power. Not for any misogynist reason, but because a woman that uses sex as power is just as bad as a man that uses his gender for power. Fuck that. We’re all just people. Now let’s get our bits wet, shall we?
It all goes back to the Madonna/Whore complex that most men have. They want a woman that is highly sexual, but also want a woman that is virginal. Personally I want a woman that is both. I want a woman that acts like a lady when she’s out in public, but is the nastiest slut once we get home and draw the curtains. I assume that it’s the same for women. They want a gentleman when they’re walking through the mall together, but a sex stallion that will fuck their brains out once they turn off the bedroom lights.
There is nothing wrong with having lots of sex, ladies. As long as it’s safe, consensual, and fun. Now go get ‘em!
