The term Hardcore refers to a category of pornography that prominently features penetrative intercourse. So anything that focuses on a cock (fake or real) going into any hole or orifice over and over and over again. It’s pretty much open season in terms of what you might imagine. Penetration of the vagina, anus and mouth, and sometimes all three. When we think of penetrative sex we often make the mistake of jumping to the ‘penis in vagina’ (or PIV) conclusion. Try to step outside that box from now on. Penetrative sex can translate into a plethora of objects going into other objects. Try to get creative with it. If you want to get more hardcore, you need to stop reverting to the status quo.
The term Hardcore could also be extended to describe any sex act that is extreme. This could include just about anything, from S&M and BDSM, to anal, to threesomes and orgies, to using toys, props or food. What’s hardcore to one person might be totally tame to another. For example, some people might think that being tied up or handcuffed is hardcore, while another person might see that as part of their daily sexual routine. That person might see double penetration as hardcore…and they’d be correct in that assumption.
Often, gay sex is seen as hardcore, even if the positions and sex acts are similar to those found in hetero sex. In that case, hardcore part has more to do with what’s considered taboo in society, or in certain cases, ‘immoral’ or ‘deviant’. This viewpoint has more to do with society’s rampant homophobia than with gay sex being hardcore, given that straight sex often involves sex acts that many people have historically thought of as ‘gay’, like anal sex and anal play, pegging, and blow jobs (yup, blow jobs are just as gay as anal, so if you’re a straight guy who loves getting blow jobs, you’re probably more gay than you ever thought). Either way, hardcore is not necessarily the same as deviant, though often times those two go hand in hand. Or butt plug in anus. And so they should.
Hardcore can also refer to the amount or quantity of the sex. If someone likes to fuck four to five times a day, they might be considered hardcore.
