Ladyboy is a term every tourist traveling to South East Asia, particularly Cambodia or Thailand, should be aware of. Similar to a Shemale, a lady boy is a young male to female transgender person who usually attempts to engage men in sexual acts or adult massages. They are often found on the streets in Bangkok, or in massage Parlors and hotels in Cambodia. Ironically, a ladyboy is actually easier to identify when they are dressed in male clothes, because they are extremely feminine and smile way more than is ever needed. Because Ladyboy’s are usually found in poorer nations, they are hardly ever post-op. Most of them are boys by day, and ladyboys by night.
While traveling in countries like Thailand or Cambodia, the Ladyboy can be extremely tricky to pinpoint, mostly because they naturally look like girls anyway. Their bodies are slender and thin, and their complexion is olive in tone. They have huge eyes, long lashes, and smile often, speaking in a very high-pitched voice. Once they put on a short skirt and make-up and grow their hair long, it is virtually impossible to tell if they are a young ladyboy, or simply an underage prostitute. My advice on both occasions is to politely decline any offer and go find the nearest massage parlor, ask for an older woman, and you’ll be sure to get a happy ending.
I’ll give you a tip if you’re ever in a massage parlor anywhere in Asia. NEVER, EVER ask for a ‘strong massage.’ One time while I was traveling in Thailand a friend did this when the woman asked if we preferred a male or female masseuse. Before my buddy and I could answer, our friend blurted out that he needed a strong massage because he had a lot of tension in his upper back. Naturally, she assumed he was implying that he wanted a male masseuse, and we spent the next hour and a half lying on our backs while an effeminate young shemale straddled our waists, giggled to each other in Thai, and commented playfully on our belly hair and beards. The entire time he massaged me, he stared down at me with those Bambi eyes. It was awful; every time I opened my eyes it felt like I was flirting with him. And I might add, he got a little too close to the balls when he was trying to massage my inner thighs.
Needless to say, my one friend and I abandoned the guy who requested the ladyboy’s half way through the massage, and went to drink some ‘buckets’ to drown out the memory. So, that is my advice to you. If you’re ever traveling in Asia, make sure you ask for a soft or ‘relaxing’ massage. If you’re lucky, you’ll get a really hot chick who is extremely flexible and ridiculously good with her hands.
