Slang for hymen, from the phrase “to pop her cherry,” referring the cherry-red drop of blood produced when the hymen is broken. When you “pop someone’s cherry,” you are taking her virginity; if a girl “loses her cherry,” then she has been penetrated and her hymen is no longer intact.
As the phrase grows in popularity, it is increasingly used to refer to someone’s first time doing anything. It can refer to someone being penetrated anally for the first time, for example, but it can also be used to refer to someone’s first time downhill skiing, riding a motorcycle, or eating at Roscoe’s House of Chicken and Waffles.

2. What do you mean you’ve never eaten at Roscoe’s House of Chicken and Waffles? Well you better get ready, because you’re going to lose your Roscoe’s cherry tonight!
