That’s the question being asked today by the good folks who run Gotham Publishing with the release of their highly anticipated “Sinner Takes All,” the biography of porn star Tera Patrick. Chronicling a illustrious career, from her shy upbringing through the world of adult entertainment, Tera weaves a curvy tale of drugs and depression, abuse and fame, technique and conquests, all the while searching and ultimately finding true love.
Tera Patrick herself will be signing copies of her book, if you happen upon the main floor of the AVN Awards this weekend between 2-3pm. That way you can stack it on the bookshelf right next to all her movies you own.
Doing a quick search on Amazon I see that there is no shortage of porn star biographies. From Jenna Jameson, Christy Canyon and Devyn Devine to an encyclopedia dedicated to stars of their respective decades, publishers at least seem to feel there’s a market for “us” readers.
I, for one, have never read a porn biography. Let alone a blog.
Leading me to wonder if anybody is reading this now. Hello? HELLO?
