Congratulations go out to Marco Banderas, porn star and four-time nominee for AVN Male Performer of the Year, who made his professional bodybuilding debut at a competition at the Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium in Culver City.
Star of 1,033 adult film titles and director of 13, Marco decided to jump into the competition late and only trained for 4 and a half months. Banderas placed sixth in the contest on March 27.
“Above all the super strict diets that I had to do, and the amount of money that you have to spend on supplements, food, and personal trainers just to be competition ready,” he said, “even though I’m very at home on the stage this time I wasn’t either singing or doing a live sex show. This was very nerve-wracking.”
Banderas was also a professional singer in Barcelona for nearly 10 years before his porn career.
