Have no fear fellow porn provocateur’s! If you didn’t catch the AVN Awards, AVN in conjunction with Avail-TVN, the largest digital media services company in North America, will soon be bringing them to you via PPV and VOD as soon as this week!
This year’s event for the first time took place at the Pearl Concert Theater inside the Palms Casino Resort. Avail-TVN will offer a full suite of programming produced and marketed by AVN including:
• PPV Content including an edited version of the 2010 Awards Program, with red carpet and behind-the-scenes coverage, set to air on Feb. 5, with encore performances throughout the month.
• VOD Content including the 2010 AVN Awards Program, and “AVN Insider,” the uncensored, extended version of the 2009 Awards Program, and a free Adult Awards Show Preview.
This marks the first time in history that the AVN Adult Movie Awards will make its TV premiere and enjoy an exclusive window on VOD and PPV. It’s also chock full of special appearances by guests outside the industry, such as Dave Attell, Margaret Cho, Dave Navarro and more. I’ve already seen images and video of the Sasha Grey “Best Oral Sex Scene” acceptance speech, but I’ll be willing to watch it again at home on the big screen. “Honey? Sasha’s on again….sorry.”
This year’s awards were attended by more people than previous years and set a new record for participation in the industry.
