While surveying the world of porn today, I read that Will Ryder, 2010 AVN Director of the Year, is casting for an all new Charlie’s Angels movie entitled “Not Charlie’s Angels XXX”. (It seems the new fad these days for getting away with catchy titled parodies is the word “not”.) The greatest thing about this listing is that the auditions are open to new-cummers as well…
Another interesting aspect of this is that they are not parodying the high voltage Drew Barrymore movie(s) but the old 70′s tv-show that appealed to millions and created stars out of the virtually unknown Kate Jackson, Jaclyn Smith and the late Farrah Fawcett. This should be very interesting.
I won’t list the details of the audition because something tells me my hi-tech blog schedule will make sure this hits the internets a day or so after auditions are finished. But it nevertheless makes my dirty mind roll. Open auditions for anyone? They want to cast the title role(s) to aspiring new porn actresses?
Is the adult film world and/or Los Angeles so devoid of talent that this is even necessary? Are the film makers looking to break that next big award winner? Or is this just a ploy for the producers to introduce their worn and rugged casting couch to some new and exciting skin squeaks? I don’t know but I can daydream. And as far as I’m concerned a big “Hollywood Porn audition” is going to remain just as perverted and dirty as I want it to be.
