I grew up watching wrestling and loving ever single minute of it. And guess who my favorite wrestler was? Yeah, that’s right, Hulk Hogan!
It’s not really a surprise because millions of other kids were part of Hulkmania back in the 1980s. He was definitely the shit! Also, it didn’t hurt that he was in Rocky III, which was a kickass movie and also starred Sly Stallone who was cool as hell when you were a 7-year-old kid.
So why was the Hulkster the shit, you ask? Well, he ripped off his shirts, always did the right thing, and he waved that American Flag like he didn’t care, dammit!
But with Internet and the spreading of information, my boyhood idol has been tainted. Yes, like many celebrities he has been caught in the middle of a sex tape scandal.
This is the worst thing to happen to Hulkster. Well, one of the other worst things was when he jointed nWo (New World Order) in the 1990s and became Hollywood Hogan. He discarded his clean-cut image for a grimy evil look. Instead of wearing his trademark yellow Hulk shirt, he traded that in for the nWo Black.
Anyway, back to the sex tape! A sex tape containing Hogan and a woman, who is alleged to be his best friend’s wife (radio personality Bubba the LoveSpung) was leaked. Hogan has noted that he didn’t know he was being filmed.
Suffice to say that it didn’t sit too well with Hogan.
He is now considering legal action in regards the video being released.
