Vivid Entertainment has done it again. Savanna Samson and Belladonna star in the re-envisioned movie “The Devil in Miss Jones: The Resurrection,” which went on sale this week. Written by Raven Touchstone and Tony G and directed by Paul Thomas, it is based on the adult classic film “The Devil in Miss Jones.”
“This is about the eternal battle between good and evil.” Says Savanna. “I play the glamorous and sophisticated publisher Pandora Phoenix, who also happens to be an agent of the Devil. She is truly nasty in every way and, of course, my character is wildly sexy and very serious about corrupting anyone within her reach, which makes her almost impossible to resist.”
The renowned original from 1973, “The Devil in Miss Jones” told the story of a thirty-something spinster who kills herself because she feels her life is empty. Faced with an eternity in Hell and confronted by the Devil, she is given the opportunity to live one more day and she chooses it to be a day consumed, engulfed and impassioned by lust. Well, wouldn’t you??
Other cast members in the new movie include Penny Flame (guess she changed her mind after getting out of Celebrity Rehab / Sober House), Carmella Bing, Rebeca Linares, Victoria Sin, Evan Stone (which I shouldn’t even have to mention since he’s in EVERYTHING), Nick Manning (ditto), Steven St. Croix, Tom Byron and Kurt Lockwood.
It is available in high definition, Blu-ray in a two-disc set that includes both behind-the-scenes footage and a bonus scene starring Jenna Jameson as the Devil and Savanna as Miss Jones.
Following in a very interesting trend, after Deep Throat and Neu Wave Hookers’ “re-imagining / reboots,” this is a great addition to Vivid’s unbeatable library of filth and fun.
