"It kind of is my trademark," Kaylee says, "I honestly thought it would be a downside for doing porn - keep me from doing a lot of things - but it actually helps a lot. It gets me so much work. I work for companies like Devil's Film. I work for them all the time for their young girls stuff and they have a strict rule: no implants. But, they're like, "She has braces, so it's okay." So, I got really, really lucky that I have braces because I get way more work." But the braces weren't an absolute blessing, as Kaylee has lost a few gigs because some male pornstars were afraid their members would get grated by the metal brackets.
Her Braces Are A Catch-22.
Because some adult film opportunities were denied because of her braces, Kaylee considered taking them off to diversify her role. When such an opportunity came up, a Barbie parody produced by X-Play that coincided with her needing to change her brackets, she switched from metal to Invisalign. Soon after angry fanmails and Facebook messages began flooding in, "I had maybe two people say, 'Cool - that's great,' and maybe one person say, 'Cool - I like you either way.' But everybody else was like, 'If you take off your braces, I will delete you from my Facebook; if you take off your braces, I will not follow you on Twitter. I won't watch any more of your stuff.' I was like, 'Oh, my gosh!' There was a huge backlash. Everybody got really upset. So, I don't know what I'm going to do."
