BDSM Porn Company Kink.com Fined for Safety Violations
San Francisco porn company , Kink.com was fined more than $78,000 last week for maintaining dangerous workplace conditions, such as allowing performers to have sex on camera without using condoms, by state safety officials.
Records show that Kink.com’s parent company Cybernet Entertainment was cited for quite a few violations after an inspection in August, the largest part, $75,000 of it, targeting Cybernet’s condom policy which allows performers to decide whether or not they would like to use condoms.
Cybernmet’s founder Peter Acworth said in a statement,
“The fines are excessive and, we believe, politically motivated. The complaints which prompted the inspection were not made by actual employees, but by outside groups with a long history of opposition to adult film. We’ll be appealing the decision.”
This all comes after two performers for Kink.com who were romantically involved contracted HIV, prompting the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, a Los Angeles advocacy group, filed a formal complaint against them. The AHF previously successfully pushed for Measure B, the law that states performers are required on all porn sets in LA County.
Many from the adult industry have spoken out against Measure B, including Ron Jeremy and Steven Hirsch. On Orgasm.com we have something for everyone. You can find tons of free porn videos with and without condoms.
