Octomom, Nadya Suleman is facing up to five years, eight months in prison. She has been ordered to appear in front of a LA County judge for arraignment this week in regards to charges laid against her for suspected welfare fraud. It’s expected that the courts will be asking for $25,000 bond.

The charges against Suleman are one count of aid by misrepresentation and two counts of perjury by false application for aid. These charges stem from the Octomom applying for, and receiving public aid funds last year and not reporting funds amounting to almost $30,000 that she had earned.

District Attorney Jackie Lacey said in a news release,

“While applying for public aid, the mother of 14 children allegedly failed to disclose that she was also getting checks for personal appearances and residuals from videos.” 

Octomom made money in recent years for posing topless, a few different stripping gigs and even staring in an AVN award winning solo porn video. She even got her and her 14 children a new home using money that she had earned from her porn video.
