Tennessee Man Sues Apple For Porn Addiction & Bad Marriage
A man has filed suit in a Tennessee district courtroom claiming his purchase of an Apple laptop in 2011 led him down a path of porn addiction, marriage failure, and the separation of his family.
Former attorney Chris Sevier, 36, says he originally purchased the Apple device in 2011 in order for him to begin recording and producing original ‘electronic’ music. He claims that he had never seen pornographic images before, or attended a strip club, or a sex club, however one day while trying to type ‘Facebook.com’, Sevier mistyped the URL to ‘Fuckbook.com‘, an adult dating & entertainment website. When landing on the adult webpage, he says it “appealed to his biological sensibilities as a male and led to an unwanted addiction with adverse consequences”. He further claims that Apple devices make it way too easy to access pornography images, and that “Apple is hijacking great sex” by enabling “unfair competition” between porn actresses and real women, like his now ex-wife.
The 50 page lawsuit, which is misspelled, rambling, confusing and contradictory was submitted by Sevier himself, even though he was transferred to disability inactive status by the Tennessee Bar Association in 2011. He is asking that all Apple products in the future be sold in a protective state, which only a written letter to Apple direct from each individual consumer will allow them access to a ‘Porn Password’ where they can then access 18+ content. He also asks that the website Backpage.com, get blocked completely from all of it’s devices, even if you have the ‘Porn Password’. Sevier is seeking damages, but will drop the lawsuit if Apple agrees to sell their devices in a Safe Mode.
