5.SOPHIA SANTI
Born in Winnipeg and growing up in Vancouver, Sophia entered porn around 2003 and became Penhouse Pet for November 2002 and was runner-up for Pet of the Year in 2005. Like the other distinquished women in this list, Sophia has won mutilple awards for her work in porn including the AVN Award for Best All-Girl Sex Scene in 2009.

4.CAPRI CAVANNI
Another B.C native on the list, Capri has certainly paid her dues to become one of porn’s top billed performers. After some legal problems with her first stage name, Capri came back stronger than ever. In an interview with Orgasm.com, Capri noted: “I’m happy with the way I did everything, because everything worked out quite well. So I guess I am thankful that I did it the way that I did. I don’t think any girl can become fully prepared in this industry no matter how much they try or how many questions they ask, it all comes from experience. And without those experiences you don’t really grow.”

3.SHYLA STYLEZ
Shyla broke into porn in 2003 and has been nominated for a multiple top industry awards. The British Columbia native was ranked in Maxim’s top 12 females in porn in 2010. Before that Shyla was a very popular stripper and cam girl in Vancouver, and in 2011 she entered the Urban X Awards Hall of Fame.

2.SUNNY LEONE
Sunny is perhaps the most well known porn star that hails from Canada. Penthouse founder Bob Guccione christened her with her porn moniker and also became Penthouse Pet for 2003. Now Sunny is quickly turning her porn popularity into a very lucrative mainstream acting career, which saw her star in Indian horror film Jism 2 in 2012. 1.NIKKI BENZ
Nikki has become one of the most well-known porn stars around and she’s Canadian to boot! The Toronto native is signed to Brazzers and held the prestigious honor of Penthouse Pet for 2011. The Toronto-native scored her first sex scene with Gina Lynn in 2003 and her star has continued to grow both in porn films and print getting spreads in Penthouse, High Society, Hustler and Cheri. Nikki has won or has been nominated for almost 20 industry awards during her 10+ years in porn.

PAMELA ANDERSON (Bonus Entry #1)
Yet another import from B.C (there must be something in the water there) shot to fame with her starring role in Baywatch but it wasn’t until her sex tape with Tommy Lee was released in 1997 that she became a household name. Although not technically a porn star, the stolen homemade sex tape became one of the most popular porn videos ever. Pamela also has appeared on more covers of Playboy than anyone else.

TAYLOR STEVENS (Bonus Entry #2)
Although not technically a porn star (we wish she was!) Taylor is a Toronto-native that is a wildly popular cam girl. She is known for her ample breasts and animated cam performances. In an interview with Orgasm.com, Taylor said, “love what I do I give nothing but the best of me. I care about my fans they are the reason I am where I am today. I’m a really down to earth girl I’m a no bullshit kind of girl. [laughs] I think I appeal to a lot of markets.
