Hulk Hogan Refiles $100 Million Sex Tape Lawsuit VS Gawker
In October 2012, Hulk Hogan aka Terry Gene Bollea, filed a group of lawsuits against several people after a sex tape involving him was leaked to the media. The tape was filmed 6 years prior.
Hogan filed cases against Gawker, the website who published parts of the film, and as well as his partner in the sex tape, Heather Clem and Clem’s now ex husband, radio personality Bubba The Love Sponge. Hogan believed that the pair were responsible for the film being leaked. Hogan dropped the case against Bubba after the two shared a discussion, where Bubba then addressed the issue and apologized live on air to Hogan.
Hogan then decided to dismiss his case against Gawker in order to refile it in the state of Florida where he is suing Clem. In a statement released by his lawyer, they say Hulk dismissed the federal case in order to consolidate his claims against both Clem and Gawker, to bring both cases under the same roof. A smart decision figuring it will save Hogan on paperwork and legal fees.
Clem and Bubba had a unique relationship, where it seems as though Clem was allowed to sleep with other men, as long as she video taped it.
