Despite denying that he was in porn before, Syracuse-based prosecutor Mark Suben finally admitted that he was in fact a porno actor.

In a news conference, Suben said: “Recently materials have been circulated alleging that I was involved in the adult film industry about 40 years ago in New York. Those allegations are true.”

Suben continued: “I was an actor in adult films for a short period in the early `70s. I was also an actor in other venues including off-Broadway, soap operas and commercial advertisements.”

He issued an apology to his family, friends and staff during the conference. However, Suben has no intention of stepping down. It was also brought to light that Suben was not practicing or going to school for law while he acted in these porn films.

WSTM, a Syracuse-based TV station broke the news that Mark Suben acted in porn under the name Gus Thomas. An IMDB profile lists Gus Thomas aka Mark Suben acting in such films as ‘The Love Witch’, ‘Lecher’ and ‘Deep Throat II.’

Suben’s opponent, lawyer Keith Dayton doesn’t seemed too concerned about the revealed porn past. However, as he said to the Syracuse Post-Standard: “I think the more important part is the lying.”
