Former porn star Sasha Grey is continuing to make inroads into mainstream media. This time it’s by way of an erotic novel.

Grey, who has acted in several Hollywood films and spent a season on Entourage, is trying her hand at something a little different—writing a novel. As reported by Deadline.com, her erotic novel is titled “The Juliette Society” and is being described as “Fight Club” with a strong female character.

This can only enhance Grey’s career in the mainstream especially with the recent success of such novels as Fifty Shades of Grey.

Grey noted in a statement, “For the very first time I can create my own world, my own characters, my own story, and express my own vision with publishers who are just as passionate about the subject matter as I am.”

The retired porn star continued, “I’m not interested in trying to reinvent the erotic novel, but I look forward to taking it back to its source as a salacious treatment of sex, particularly female sexuality, as something mysterious and sensual…”

The novel will be published by Grand Central Publishing in the US and Little, Brown in the UK.
