Orgasm.com Interviews Raylene

Raylene has been one of my favorite pornstars since I saw her perform in Vivid’s Red in 1999. That was 13 years ago, and though 13 years in the porn industry might as well be a lifetime, there’s something unforgettable about Raylene. Her charisma and enthusiasm for sex have turned her into a legend, and she’s one of the biggest names to emerge from the 1990’s along with Jenna Jameson, Jill Kelly and Houston.

So it was as a fan that I watched her in After Porn Ends, a new documentary that features interviews with several current and former pornstars. If you’re interested in learning more, you’ll want to stay turned to Orgasm.com for interviews and a film review, however first up we have a teaser with Raylene. She was kind enough to speak to me over the phone, and I had a chance to ask her some of my burning questions after watching After Porn Ends.

Orgasm.com: Why did you agree to be part of After Porn Ends?

Raylene: “At the time of the filming I was retired…I took part in the film to shed a different light [on the industry.]”

Orgasm.com: What are your thoughts on the porn industry today?

Raylene: “The Internet has taken over the industry and destroyed it.”

Orgasm.com: What are you thoughts on Shelley Lubban and her anti-porn crusade?

Raylene: “Everyone is entitled to what they do…its their business.”

Orgasm.com: Do you have any thoughts on the film?

Raylene: “I was comfortable with everything that I answered. It was a good experience and I’m thankful for it…[Although] I haven’t watched the film [yet]…some of my fans have. Their reactions have been endearing.”

Orgasm.com: What are you doing now?

Raylene: “I’m retired [from porn]* and currently doing Real Estate.”*

* Note: Raylene made a brief comeback earlier in 2012 before retiring from porn for good.
