Yeah it’s a pretty heavy comic book week. Whatever, it’s good for us once in awhile. And by “us” I mean gimme back my lunch money. And though I am a superhero fan I really like the fact that this is not a parody. It’s about as original as they come. Co-directed by William H. and Elegant Angel general manager Graham Travis, Superheroes stars AVN Female Performer of the Year Tori Black, Kristina Rose, Asa Akira and Sadie West. The story revolves around a group of very gifted girls, and their runaround with a diabolical force in Los Angeles, CA. The trailer even gives it a bit of a “Pulp Fiction” spin. So, pretty please…with sugar on top. Clean the fucking car.

The good news is that this DVD could be in your hot little hands as soon as April 15th. Good way to ease those tax day pains. The bad news is that it suffers, at least from indications in the trailer, from the same problems a lot of adult films fall victim to:

Bluebird Films is rushing to finish and release their own Batman parody titled “Bat Fucks: Dark Night,” with a trailer currently available, and a release slated for September 2010. This promises to be the most expensive and largest scale production the company has ever mounted. Any fan of the mainstream franchise knows that Ledger’s performance cannot be touched and so my hat is off to Chaplin for taking a stabby stab at it. A new AVN category should be created for “most over the top character EVER” this year.

On the other hand, arguably pornodom’s reigning kings (whether you like it or not) Vivid Entertainment is getting ready to inflict great Batpain on the world with its own “Batman XXX: a Porn Parody.” This is director Axel Braun’s lustchild and will complete the first installment of his four parody deal with Vivid. Now, I don’t have a whole lot of information of this one, EXCEPT to say that its story line will likely parody the old campy 60′s TV – Adam West Batman that I grew up with (this statement has not been verified but the box cover does indeed show a 60′s era Batman). This pleases me greatly as I will probably not have a problem separating the two whatsoever and will enjoy both with great fervor.

While Bat Fucks looks as though it will stick with the one villain; ala TDK, a hint as to what BXXX will offer, in regards to baddies and staples alike, can be gleaned from the disclaimer at the end of its press release: “DISCLAIMER: Batman XXX: A Porn Parody is a parody movie.
