Sydney Leathers Swept Up In HIV Positive Porn Scandal
Sydney Leathers, the young temptress who became famous after exposing herself as the sexting girlfriend of U.S. Politician Anthony Weiner and went on to film an adult video with Vivid Entertainment, has been warned that one of her on screen partners was recently mentioned in an HIV outbreak within the adult industry.
Leathers signed on with Vivid to film “Weiner & Me”, a parody porn video depicting the relationship between her and the U.S. politician, and days later her on screen partner, Xander Corvus was named in an HIV outbreak. Corvus had on screen relations with Cameron Bay, a female porn star who tested positive for HIV on August 20, 2013. Her last test, July 27, 2013 came back with a negative result.
Just days after Bay’s negitive result in July, she filmed a condomless scene with Corvus, and a few weeks later Corvus filmed with Leathers in yet another Condomless sex scene.
The outbreak within the industry has sparked many to question if the newly implemented Measure B laws, which stipulate a condom must be worn while performing sex scenes in California, are being followed. If they are, it then questions just how much of an impact is the law really having within the industry. In 2011 a False Positive HIV test scared the industry into halting all production, and in 2012 a syphilis out break did the same, both being used as case points on the laws implementation.
