Former U.S. Congressman Anthony Weiner has been in and out of the news since 2011 for several sexting scandals involving young women. The first scandal led to his resignation from Congress, and in his attempt to reenter politics by running for mayor of New York City a second scandal has emerged.

Sydney Leathers, a 23 year old brunette from Illinois, has come forward saying she began a relationship with Weiner in July 2012, and the two of them began sharing sexy text messages which included pictures of her in lace underwear and a few “weiner’ shots from him. Weiner was campaigning on his mayor candidacy on the premise that he was now faithful to his wife and had changed his ways, a mindset that Leathers says is untrue. Since she has come out with the images Weiner says he did continue sexting relationship with women after leaving office in 2011, but also says that he kicked the old relationships in the summer of 2012 after seeking counseling with his wife.

The scandal has raised Leathers into the public spot light. Within a weeks time she has been on the Howard Stern show, announced a book deal and taken a bikini photo shoot on the beach, but what has everyone talking is her meeting with Steve Hirsch, Vivid Studios head honcho, in Los Angeles, a meeting which saw the two of them leave together in Hirsch’s car.
