Anthony Bourdain Visits Atlanta Strip Club
Famous TV-food personality Anthony Bourdain is known for his colorful exploits and recently he dragged well-known foodie Alton Brown into a fine mess.
While visiting Altanta in January for a taping of “The Layover”, Bourdain brought the typically even-keeled Alton to one of the city’s most famous strip clubs.
Until recently there wasn’t really much to it, but an inquisitive person on Reddit took the opportunity to ask Bourdain about the event.
“How did you manage to get Alton Brown to a strip club, and then make him say ‘Make it rain’?” the fan asked.
The cheeky ex-chef responded, “My proudest accomplishment. Watching Alton Brown at the Clermont. I’m sure the people at Food Net[work] were browning their shorts.”
Bourdain had a great chat on Reddit with many of his fans. He even commented on his break-up with the Travel Channel.
He noted, “CNN is letting me and my crew make smarter TV in places that Travel never would have allowed. Also – the new regime at Travel were a pretty unpleasant, uninspiring bunch. I saw the writing on the wall.”
