DK: Do you have any fetishes? If so, what are they?

You didn’t say sexual fetishes, so I’m going to go with cleaning and organizing! It soothes me and calms my mind very much like masturbation does.

 

Okay, sexually as boring as it may sound for a fetish, the oral fixation I have with a penis in my mouth. I can be bone dry in my pants but as soon as it’s in my mouth you can turn me into a super wet horn-ball. POV style is hot. Looking up with devious eyes. Yep, love it.

DK: On your blog you have many pictures of your cats and food! Are they sources of inspirations when you write for example?

Gen: My fur babies or animals in general have always been a weakness of mine. Although this year we found an abandoned Siamese in an parking lot that happened to be pregnant. I have two of her babies both born with Cerebellar Hypoplasia.

 

One of them can’t walk (not paralyzed) and the other walks around like he’s drunk. They’re the happiest kittens I’ve ever known. It’s been a whole new learning experience for me. Before this I never knew what CH was so having my cats are now a passion; giving a good quality of life to such loving innocence. And, allowing others to become more aware of this condition.

 

I find a happy place in cooking. It’s another creative outlet. Taking pictures of the gorgeous views of the sky from home is my time to escape from the world a few minutes or so at a time. Taking adult rated candid shots are fun to do, sometimes they’re funny, creative or nothing more than candid. It instills that “not so porn star” reminder of their very own favorite porn star. [laughs]

 

All of these things are passions and inspirations to keep going; to look forward for the next day. It’s a reminder that life isn’t all that bad. It’s what you make of it.

 

DK: You have been considered an underrated star throughout your career. What do you feel about it? Do you see it as a boon?

Gen: That’s a tough one. It’s all in how I choose to take it. I’m half and half with the idea of being underrated. My fans did not make the decision to label me as underrated. They’re the ones that have always been supportive and majority of them have been there since before I ever did movies. To them, I’m not underrated.

 

It’s the companies like AVN, XBIZ, XRCO, etc. that choose to place me in that category. If they saw it from my perspective and gave me the time of day granted I was never a contract girl or hustled my holes every day, nor kiss ass or pester then maybe it would be different. I don’t know. I could be wrong, too. I never nominated myself over these years either.

 

Honestly I don’t feel that’s my job to do. It feels like cheating. So maybe I did it to myself. XRCO nominated me three years in a row and I lost each time… maybe I’m not so underrated after all? Hmmmm…

 

But I’ll take it. I wouldn’t mind the extra recognition, who wouldn’t?

 

DK: Have you had any mentors in or outside the industry? If so, how have they helped you?

None. I’m great at observing my surroundings. I try to keep up with what’s going on the Internet, stay informed and have done this since the ’90s before I even started taking pictures of myself for my Yahoo! Group, where I started. If anything the whole business itself was my mentor.

 

DK: What is the importance of branding and marketing yourself? Can you tell us a bit in how you have been so successful doing this?

Gen: For me it really all boils down to knowing who I am, what I do, what I’ve done and being consistent! Consistency is what shapes you into how everyone else sees you. For example, if I’m not consistent with my website… then why would anyone want to spend their hard earned money for a membership? They’re going to find somewhere else to spend it where they’ll get what they’re promised. Eventually word spreads somehow. Consistency takes a huge role in reputation and somehow reputation spreads faster than a wildfire.

 

I’ve noticed lately that a lot of girls these days are telling their fans to pay up or buy them something off their wish list if they want to be able to talk to them. Whether it’s through e-mail or on a social network. It’s amazing because communicating is the single most inexpensive marketing for yourself. This is how you build a connection just like you would have to do with any business.

 

Get to know the people that support you, your success and/or potential success in the industry that you choose to be a part of. You’re not entitled. I think these things are going to backfire if they’re not already. And I’ll be one of those girls that will always be easily accessible to my fans. Consistency and easily accessible is my marketing strategy. Being who I am as a normal person with a sexual streak is my brand. Keeping it down to the basics has always worked for me.

 

DK: What is the most interesting sexual experience that you have been a part of?

Gen: Meatholes. To separate myself from being a person and transforming myself into an object. To take all my inhibitions, set them aside. Submit completely and become fully willing in the acts. Make the most and savor the moments of the whole experience minute by minute and as a whole. Being able to observe the experience in both as the experiencer and the observer as if it were an out of body experience. To conquer it by being in control once I allowed myself to be willing.

 

The fact that I could defy the intended accomplishments and walk away in sexual glory, feeling liberated. I became the boss bitch. I conquered and I came. Many times.

 

DK: What is a celebrity you would love to have sex with? Why?

Gen: David Draiman, singer of Disturbed. The man shows passion in his physical expression. You can hear his passion in the intensity of his singing voice. He sings words with passionate intention. I can only imagine how he can convey all that passion and intensity in bed. He may be the death of me.

 

DK: Do you remember watching porn for the first time? If so, how was that experience like?

Gen: The first time seeing a porno was on cable! But we didn’t even have the channel. Remember back in the day when you didn’t have the channel but you can kind of hear the audio and see some sneak peeks through the black and white snow? All I remember seeing was a girl with big tits being bent over a bathtub getting railed and she’s losing her mind. My heart pounded like I was running the mile. I was in junior high school. I was intrigued from that point on. Of course that wasn’t the last time either.

 

DK: What would your ultimate sexual fantasy be?

DK: What would a perfect date for you be like?

Gen:  like to go back to Crete and venture around the old Venetian village of Chania and eat at Semi Ramis then go to one of the local live entertainment bars and walk/climb along the old rock wall to get to the lighthouse. I once got to look straight out into the ocean and a dark horizon only lit by the moon, windy and cool air around 2am and felt the history of the area being able to gaze out to what seemed to have no end. I want to experience that again with my husband.

 

DK: Have your family and friends been supportive of your move into porn? If so, how did you break it to them?

Gen: Yes, they have always been supportive. My Father always said, “As long as you’re happy that’s all that matters. If you’re not happy anymore then you change it.” My Mom found out long before I started doing movies by going to a website and a pop-up had me posing suggestively. I heard her scream down the hall “Oh my god!” Of course I went running to see if she was okay and she looked at me with tears in her eyes saying, “My baby is all grown up!” [laughs]

 

The best part is that she would have never thought in a million years based off how shy and introverted I was that she’d come to find me doing porn. But even to this day she said, “Thank goodness!” I think she was worried about me.

 

DK: What are you thoughts on the Internet? Do you believe it benefits the porn industry?

Gen: It still does benefit a lot but all these tube sites taking over is really ridiculous and out of hand. And what can we do about it now? It seems to be part of the reason why live streaming has become a big thing right now.

 

DK: What is something people don’t know about you? A talent you have or hobby you enjoy doing?

Gen: Hmmm… I don’t know if there’s anything that hasn’t been shared before. But I’m artistically inclined. It’s rarely spoken of, probably because I haven’t painted in a long time up until just a few days ago. I’ll likely share it on my free blog when I’m done! [Link found below]
