Hacker Group Anonymous Targets Revenge Porn King Hunter Moore

Hunter Moore Anonymous, the hacker group known for shutting down government websites, shifted its sights to take aim at notorious Revenge Porn King Hunter Moore.

Moore gained Internet fame in 2010 from the creation of his website IsAnyoneUp.com, a website designed to upload naked pictures of ex boyfriends and girlfriend while also displaying all of their sensitive information such as addresses, phone numbers, Facebook information and more. The site gained instant fame and popularity, but was shut down in April of 2012 after a string of controversy.

When Moore announced that he was going to launch his new website, Anonymous took note and started #OpHuntHunter, vowing to expose his sensitive information and shut down his site.

Moore has always expected this type of backlash though, and has posted his sensitive material online before, from naked pictures of himself to his home address, however this attack was able to shut down his new website and the hackers were able to make purchases on his credit card though his Soundcloud account.

The site has since been reactivated.
