San Francisco’s porn industry may get a sudden boost because of the Yes vote on Measure B in Los Angeles. Measure B, of course is the Bill mandating that all adult industry performers wear protection during sex while filming.

Industry Professionals including the AVN Media Network CEO Theo Sapoutzis said that there will be an increase in porn production in San Francisco because of the Los Angeles law which was voted on November 6, 2012.

Sapoutzis also noted: “It’s early to tell if we’ll see a massive exodus of the adult industry towards San Francisco, Las Vegas or Miami.”

Many porn production companies in Los Angeles are looking for alternative places to produce films including Las Vegas.

Another industry professional Michael Stabile told the Examiner.com: “So while some smaller companies might move up [to San Francisco], most larger companies will be looking build studios and soundstages where they can mount larger productions.”
