From the bizarre files, the Brooklyn Nets of the NBA, recently revealed their super hero mascot named BrooklyKnight. And its a name that is also shared with an adult film star! Hats off to Deadspin for noticing!

Despite the Nets Marketing team making it a point to differentiate the mascot from the porn star by spelling the name differently, its still kind of weird.

The Mascot is an obvious ploy to wrangle in a younger generation of fans, but to name it so close to a porn star was already established wasn’t a good move.

So, what’s up with that Jay-Z?

Regardless, the porn star, Brooklyn Nights who appears retired, may find a surge of interest. Who knows? She might get back into the porn game because of this! Or not.
