Former Porn Star Ryan Idol will be spending the next 12 years in a California State Prison for attempted murder.

Idol was convicted more than a year ago after he was found beating his ex-girlfriend with a toilet tank. The Sacramento Bee reported that Idol came in to the woman’s apartment on the evening of September 5, 2009. He then threatened her by stating “I came over here to kill.”

He then made his way to her bathroom where she was having a bath. Idol commenced to beat her with the toilet’s porcelain tank top until, as she claims, “I felt blood gushing down my shoulders.”

The woman, who was not identified, severed ties with Idol whose real name is Marc Anthony Donais, when she caught him having sex with his gay lover.

Idol, 46, was a very popular gay film performer in the 1990s and starred in his “Idol” series which included “Idol Worship” and “Idol in the Sky”.

He retired from the porn industry in 1996.
