Many women have come and gone in the porn industry yet there is only a handful who have managed to  make an overwhelming impacted.

Along with stars like Seka, John Holmes, and Ron Jeremy, Vanessa Del Rio is a porn legend and she’s being rightly recognized in a bio-pic about her life and career.

Production Company DOOM Inc has noted that it will be set during the golden age of porn in the 1970s and 80s when Del Rio’s star shone the brightest. It will also focus on the federal government’s pursuit to censor music and films in this period and the tireless effort of some movie pioneers including Del Rio to fight for freedom of speech.

Director Thomas Mignone, who is known for his award-winning music videos for such bands as Sepultura, Slipknot and System of a Down, will be manning the film.

There is no information yet on when filming will begin yet Doom Inc has made it known that they are looking for an executive producer and opportunities for product placement.
